1. Primary Issue Location

  • Component: SWAT+ Executable (crash occurs during model run), though root cause is suspected to trace back to SSURGO soil data imported via QSWAT+
  • Area of impact: Model input (soil data) → Model Functionality (runtime crash)

2. Software Versions

  • GIS Interface: QSWAT+
  • SWAT+ Editor: v3.2.3
  • SWAT+ Revision: 61.0.2

3. Project Characteristics

  • Watershed Details: ~15 subbasins, ~500 HRUs (filter by landuse 5% / soil 0% / single slope band threshold), Quail Creek Reservoir catchment, southern Utah, nested basin design with two outlets (interior calibration gage + basin pour point)
  • Modeling Aim: Streamflow/water balance — simulating ungauged reservoir inflow, calibrated against an interior USGS gage

4. Description of Issue

  • The Problem:
  forrtl: error (65): floating invalid Image PC Routine Line Source swatplus-61.0.2-i 00007FF669F67459 NUT_NMINRL 174 nut_nminrl.f90 swatplus-61.0.2-i 00007FF669ED4F52 HRU_CONTROL 457 hru_control.f90 swatplus-61.0.2-i 00007FF669D447F2 COMMAND 258 command.f90 swatplus-61.0.2-i 00007FF66A09A830 TIME_CONTROL 254 time_control.f90 swatplus-61.0.2-i 00007FF669F4DBA7 MAIN 129 main.f90 swatplus-61.0.2-i 00007FF66A0BD6FB Unknown Unknown Unknown swatplus-61.0.2-i 00007FF66A0C5C60 Unknown Unknown Unknown KERNEL32.DLL 00007FF893E5E957 Unknown Unknown Unknown ntdll.dll 00007FF894E2AD6C Unknown Unknown Unknown

Steps to Reproduce: Soils imported via SSURGO (gSSURGO raster matched against swatplus_soils.sqlite) in QSWAT+ Create HRUs step. Weather imported via observed GridMET stations + wgn_us weather generator. Error occurs immediately when clicking "Run SWAT+" from the Confirm Simulation Settings screen.

5. Supporting Data (Optional)

  • Link to TxtInOut folder: I can share the Google Drive link upon request.
