Hey,
for my model I changed agricultural land to respectively deciduous, evergreen and mixed forest. I did that by changing the SWAT_CODE in the lookup table while keeping the landuse raster untouched, so that the landuse id gets connected with a new landuse for the areas that should be changed. For the evergreen and mixed forest this worked out good, but when I did the same for deciduous forest the percentage of urban land use changed in comparison to the original state, although I did not change anything connected to urban land use.
I compared the lookup tables for evergreen and mixed forests with the one for decidous forest but they are similar except the type of forest. Also, the urban areas in the landuse map given out by SWAT+ do not vary between the different model scenarios.
Finally, I alternatively changed the land use through changing the values for the former agricultural land in the land use raster and using the old lookup table. That delivers the same results (no changes in urban land use percentage in comparison to original state for change of agricultural land to evergreen and mixed forest, but changes in urban land use percentage for change of agricultural land to deciduous forest).
Because I get the same unlogical results for two different approaches of land use change, I wanted to ask if somebody already dealt with a similar problem or if it is possible that the SWAT+ editor shows a wrong landuse distribution for the deciduous case.
Thanks for any help
Jannis
