How to connect or route wetland HRUs to another object in SWAT+?

Hi,

In my SWAT+ model setup, several HRUs represent wetlands (light blue polygons on the map). I’d like to explicitly route the outflow from these wetland HRUs to another object — such as a downstream channel, reservoir, or another HRU.

Could someone please clarify:

• Which connection file (rout_unit.con, hru.con, or other) controls this routing for wetland HRUs?

• How should I correctly specify the destination object type (rch, res, or hru) and ID for these wetlands?

• Is there a recommended workflow for setting up such wetland routing — for instance, through QSWAT+ or manual editing of connection files?

Any examples or best practices would be greatly appreciated!
