Hi everyone,

Has anyone here worked with the coupled SWAT-MODFLOW model?

I’m currently building and calibrating the SWAT and MODFLOW models separately, and I’d like to consider some important points from the beginning to avoid potential issues later when coupling them.

If you have experience with this, I would really appreciate any advice on key things to keep in mind during the individual model setup and calibration. Especially regarding:

• Matching the MODFLOW domain/grid with the SWAT watershed
• Coordinate system consistency
• Simulation period and Steady vs Transient settings
• Recharge and River packages
• Calibration before linking
• Any other practical tips
