Starting the algorithm

I hope you’re doing well.
I have a quick question: Do I need to learn the models separately in order to work with this source code, or is it acceptable to proceed without prior knowledge of SWAT or MODFLOW?

Hi Rozita,

You don’t need to become an expert in SWAT and MODFLOW before looking at the source code, but I would say  having at least a basic understanding of both models is strongly recommended.
If you plan to modify, debug, or extend the source code, understanding both models individually will save you a lot of time and confusion.
