Preparation of modflow input files in the SWAT-MODFLOW coupled model

I'm just starting to learn SWAT-MODFLOW and I have a confusion - specifically, how to prepare the input files for MODFLOW. The groundwater model I constructed using GMS can run successfully and has a series of files. Regarding the coupling model, can it be directly used the model files from GMS, or do I need to convert the files according to the format specified in SWAT-MODFLOW Tutorial 3 (modflow module), and if so, are there any reference materials available to prepare the input files for modflow?
