Dear SWAT–MODFLOW Team,

I am running a SWAT–MODFLOW coupled model (SWAT2012 Rev. 636_smrt), but the simulation stops progressing at the start of execution. The Command Prompt output reaches:

Executing year: 1
Running MODFLOW Period: 1 Day: 1

After this point, the program stops (no further output appears, and it seems frozen). The mapping files (Grid–DHRU, DHRU–Grid, DHRU–HRU, Subbasin–Grid) are read successfully.

I am attaching a screenshot of the Command Prompt for your reference. Could you please advise what might be causing this issue and what should be checked?

Thank you for your support.

Sincerely,

Raeesh

Hello Raeesh,

Did you find any answer to your question? I have the same problem; the coupling went sucessfully with me, importing all the files needed for the simulation tab and creating the swatmf link.txt file as well. However, when I try to run the SWAT‑MODFLOW simulation, the command prompt opens for a moment, freezes, and then closes immediately without any outputs.
Any help please?!

Thank you,
Samar
