NO3 grid map only showing in top layer — recharge appears applied only to upland/top layer (help requested)

Hi SWAT-MODFLOW team,

When I generate the NO₃ map in grid cells it only appears in the top model layer — lower layers are empty. I suspect recharge (and NO₃) is only being applied to the upland/top layer. I reproduced this with the Little River template (tutorial shows full columns populated). The model runs without errors.

Any pointers or quick settings to check? I can attach recharge, active-cell, and discretization files if helpful.
