Dear all,
I am so grateful for this contribution by making SWAT-MODFLOW available. I am using SWAT-MODFLOW model to study the surface water and ground water for a kind of large watershed and as I am creating these files (hru_dhru.txt, dhru_grid.txt, grid_dhru, and river_grid.txt) and run the excutable file "CreateSWATMF.exe" I end up with two empty files named as (river_grid.file and swatmf_river2grid.txt). I do not understand what could have happened. I think the problem occurs when trying to pull out the required columns from the GIS attribute tables. I tried to follow the same steps of constructing the given example but I failed. My request is could any one explain in more details how to construct these files and which columns need to be taken from the GIS attribute tables. If you can provide an example that would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.
Aws A. Ajaaj

Hello,
I had a similar issue when running CreateSWATMF.exe for the files I created. I initially saved these files as ".txt" but I noticed they were a different format than the Tutorial data. Switching the file type to "All types (*.*)" when saving from Notepad++ seemed to do the trick in generating the "swatmf_" files. Saving to this format removes any file extensions.
