Regarding Exporting of Grids shapefile

Hello everyone,

I am working with ModelMuse and QSWATMOD2, and I need some help exporting the MODFLOW grid shapefile as polygons.

In the QSWATMOD2 tutorial document, I noticed that the MODFLOW grid shapefile includes attributes such as ID, GRIDCODE, grid_id, and grid_area. However, when I export the grid from ModelMuse, I am unable to obtain these same attributes.

Could someone please explain the correct procedure to export the MODFLOW grid shapefile (as polygons) from ModelMuse so that it includes these attributes?
Any step-by-step guidance or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Go to File -> Export -> Shapefile -> Grid Data to Shapefile.

You can check any data you want to include in your shapefile. Then specify the path to the location where you want to save the shapefile.

You don't need any attributes such as ID, GRIDCODE, grid_id, and grid_area. QSWATMOD will create necessary attributes.
