As I always write, look at your initial model result. If it is too different from observations, don’t bother to calibrate, look at what is happening in the watershed and the processes you are not accounting for, integrity of your discharge and rainfall data, etc. Those huge discharges are not as the result of rainfall.

I want to simulate daily streamflow. Then when I do calibration, do I need to do monthly first?
- You can, to get a better idea of the watershed-level values, but it is not necessary
And can I apply the monthly calibrated parameters to daily simulation?
- No, not directly. You still need to recalibrate the parameters at the daily level
Last question, can I use the average monthly streamflow for calibration or is there any method to calculate?
- Yes, you can use average monthly flow to calibrate. You can use any output of SWAT to calibrate
