Hi friend,

I would suggest to adjust the parameter range your are calibrating on. The exp function give you the error. And try to use the debug version of SWAT and see where the error come from.

Dear Zhiqiang Yu

Thanks for your response. I have used the folowing parameters

v__CN2.mgt         35.0    98.0

v__ALPHA_BF.gw      0.0     1.0

v__GW_DELAY.gw      0.0   500.0

v__REVAPMN.gw       0.0   500.0

v__GW_REVAP.gw      0.02    0.2

v__GWQMN.gw         0.0  5000.0

v__RCHRG_DP.gw      0.0     1.0

v__ESCO.hru         0.0     1.0

v__EPCO.hru         0.0     1.0

v__CANMX.hru        0.0     5.0

v__HRU_SLP.hru      0.0     1.0

v__CH_N2.rte       -0.01    1.0

v__CH_K2.rte      -0.01  500.0

v__CH_S2.rte        0.0     1.0

v__SOL_AWC().sol    0.0     1.0

v__SOL_BD().sol     0.9     2.5

v__SOL_K().sol      0.0   700.0

v__SFTMP.bsn       -5.0     5.0

v__SMTMP.bsn       -5.0     5.0

v__SMFMX.bsn        0.0    20.0

v__SMFMN.bsn        0.0    20.0

v__TIMP.bsn         0.0     1.0

v__SURLAG.bsn       1.0    24.0

v__SNOCOVMX.bsn      0    500.0

v__SNO50COV.bsn      0      1.0

and faced that problem. Again I rerun my SWAT changing parameters AWC and SOL_K  after that I calibration then it I did not faced any problem. But after some interation if I add 1/2 new parameters in Par_Inf.txt and run calibration then face same problem. So I do not understand what is the exact problem and what is the solution. Could you let me know what is the debug version of SWAT and how can I see where the error come from?

Waiting for your cordial response.

Regards

Hi friend,

You could download the SWAT executables form SWAT website. There are debug version and release version in the package. Put the debug version into your SWAT_CUP project folder. And then go into the command window, navigate to the SWAT_CUP project folder and run the executable. It should tell you the location of the error, i.e. the line number of a Fortran source code file. Then you could do your analysis from there.

Parameter ranges are too wide and you should not use v__ for spatial parameters like CN2, and soil parameters….

Best, Karim
