Validation is inactive in SUFI2

Dear SWAT users,

 I am trying to validate my model based on twelve year of observed data.but it shows following

IN SUFI2 VALIDATION IS INACTIVE.

now what should i do?

Dear Doxter.

After finish calibration, you update the best parameters on file model.in in folder calibration.

Next, run SWAT_edit.exe to update changes, and run SWAT.exe to model again.

After that, perform validation. That's all!

I am facing the same problem
After calibration I corrected my file.cio,sUFI extract and observation file still a message is coming showing that the validation is not active? What could be the possible solution for this?

after changing value in fio. sufi extract don't click on validation button, just click on same calibration button, as what you did for calibration

I did 200 simulation for my calibration period so do i need to do the same no. of simulation for my validation period also?

And after validation (by callibration button) do i have to click on validation button?

If you got good calibration result. Then just do one calibration with calibrated parameter

Don't worry about p-value and r-value. during validation only NSE and R2 matter

Might be you are not including warmup period in fio

sir i have checked everything 

when i am clicking on calibration it starts as usual for the no. of simulation but validation tab is showing me the inactive message

I tried with 200 stimulation clicking on calibration button for my validation period and  execute it for 5 years starting from 2010-2014 giving 2 year warmup as I have data from 2012-2014 only

For validation just update  all parameter and only one simulation with same calibration button, not validation button

Yes, During validation we are using our calibrated parameters and check its performance for validation with one simulation.

Total no. Of subbasin is 1589 and the gauge location is in 1576
