Hello All

After filling No observation part under Calibration Inputs and running SWATCUP, I go to 95ppu-No-Observed plot tab to see the uncertainties for the variables that don't have obs data, but a massage pops up that 95ppu-g-No-Obs.txt doesn't exist!! I was wondering how I could solve this problem.

Thank you so much,

Make sure under executable files you have check No_Obs. Boxes in SUFI2_extrcat.bat and SUFI2_Post.bat

Dr. Abbaspour,

Thanks!

I hadn't checked those boxes! But I ran the model again but this time I checked No_Obs box in SUFI_post tab, and extract_rch_No.exe in Sufi2-Extract tab, but I still see this error that 95ppu_g_No_obs doesn't exist! I was wondering if you could help me.

Regards,
Fatemeh

Well there must be an error in your no_observed input files. Check them again and consult no_observed files in Echo for clue.

Hello Dr. Abbaspour

As you said my problem was in the input file. Actually I input the wrong number as data points, so I  corrected it and ran the SWATCUP with less than 10 Simulation Number and it worked. But I re-ran the program but this time I increased the Number of Simulations to 2000, and this windows popped up (995ppu_NO_Obs.exe has stopped working)! I was wondering if you believe this error is related to the number of Simulation Number!

Thank you so much!

No it shouldn't be, but you dont need to run 2000 times! You should do a few iterations of about 500 simulations

Dear Dr. Abbaspour,

Thank you so much! Fortunately the model works! : )

I have another question, I was wondering if you could help me. As I explained in the last emails, I have just Obs data in Sub-basin 5, but I am looking for sediment data in Sub-basin 15.

At the first step, I just calibrated the model based on SED_OUT_5 obs data with ignoring No Observation part, and SWATCUP gave me a range of data for SED_OUT_5 (95PPU). Then I ran the model one more time with the same input parameter, also with considering No Observation part to see what the range of sediment is in Sub-basin 15.

For making sure if the model gave me reasonable results, I checked SED_OUT_5 in both runs ( with ignoring exctract-rch/sub-No-Obs.exe, and also considering these options). But SED_OUT_5 aren't the same (about 15% difference), specially at the beginning of my runs. Please take a look at the attachment.

Would you please tell me if this amount of difference is common, or maybe I have done something wrong!

I really appreciate your help.
Fatemeh
