Hello everyone,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am currently encountering a persistent issue when running SWAT+ CUP version 3 and would greatly appreciate any insights or advice from the community.

Following earlier suggestions from 2W2E team, I have already:

·         Replaced the contents of my working directory with those from the Backup folder (to rule out corrupted or missing files).

·         Restricted the request to only essential output files.

·         Tested the procedure with all available SWAT+ executables, including the version that previously worked for me in SWAT+ Editor v3.0.8.

Unfortunately, these steps have not resolved the issue.

To illustrate, I prepared two simple test cases (calibration input files, batch files, and screenshots are attached for the reference):

·         Case 1: One parameter, one simulation.

·         Case 2: Seven parameters, fifteen simulations.

In both cases, the SPE_pre step executes successfully. However, when running SPE_run, the process finishes without any visible errors, yet SWAT+ does not generate the requested output files (e.g., channel_sdmorph_day as defined in Print.Prt). Because of this, subsequent steps such as SPE_Single_Obj_post and SPE_No_Obj_Obs_Post cannot be executed properly.

Has anyone experienced a similar issue or found a workaround? Please let me know if further details or files would be useful for diagnosis.

Many thanks in advance for your time and support.

Kind regards,
Issa

Hi,
I faced this same error 'cannot open input file'. You can fix this by copying all your files from the backup folder to your main working folder and try again.
