Help Needed with SUFI-2 Calibration in SWAT-CUP

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well.

I recently completed a case study using SWAT, and everything worked smoothly. Now, I’ve moved on to calibration using SUFI-2 in SWAT-CUP. Since I didn’t have flow data, I used ET data instead. Initially, I was using PET from TerraClimate, but based on previous group discussions, I realized that it wasn’t suitable. I’ve now switched to AET data.

I followed the steps in the manual and have attached screenshots of each stage of the SWAT-CUP setup for your reference. However, I’ve encountered an issue after running the calibration. Although the process runs without errors, the SUFI-2 post.bat file gives me the following messages:

    "Simulation No. 2 is missing or has a problem"
    "Simulation No. 3 is missing from goal.txt"
    "Simulation No. 1 has problems"

Additionally, when I try to save the iteration and check the calibration results, files like 95ppu_g.txt and other outputs under the calibration section are missing.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or guidance on resolving these issues.

Hi Sofia!

I am also new to SWAT and SWAT-CUP. Please check the sequence of the observed data. I think it should be 1 to 180. Your number after 10 is 1. I think it should be 11 after 10. I encircled it in yellow (attached file). I hope this will help.
