Not able to do validation

I have completed calibration process for 10 years from 1990-2000 and for validation, I took time peroid from 2001 - 2013 and made changes in observed.txt,sufi2_exctract_rch.def and file.cio without changing the parameters.

But validation is not active.

dear akshay after calibration process do changes  which are required to change  and then click on calibration only. validation is nothing but testing the calibrated parameters with independent data sets.

Hope you are fine!

What is the purpose of the same ranges of calibrated parameters for validation?  Do we use the same Max and Min parameters, or just fitted parameters, if we must use fitted parameters, there is no place in the SWAT cup just for fitted parameters. Could you help me, because I am confused?
