Cotton Yield Calibration Issue Extraction

Dear SWAT User Group,

I am working on cotton yield calibration using SWAT-CUP (SUFI-2) with HRU-based extraction.

I am facing the following error:
“Cannot open input file SUFI2.OUT/COTS_34.txt”

Details:

• Output file: output.hru

• Crop: COTS

• Variable: YLDt_ha

• HRU selected: 34

• Observed data: annual cotton yield (single variable)

Despite correct setup, the extraction file is not being generated.

Could you please guide:

1. Whether multiple HRUs should be used instead of a single HRU?

2. How to correctly extract basin-level yield from HRU outputs?
