Hello dear users!!

I have done 300 simulations for calibration, as you can see in the pictures attached I have got a good NSE and R2 but P and R factors are very small, how can I increase it?

Iteration1- PLAPS and TLAPS
Iteration2- Snow parameters
Iteration3-  Calibration

Thanks

Perhaps you should include other flow parameters.

Thank you so much for your quick response.
I have done sensitivity analysis (1000 simulations for 20 parameters) then I chose 7 the most sensitive parameters for calibration and validation  but I still get low value for p and r factors with a NSE and R2 over 0.7.
Calibration
p = 0.42
r = 0.75
Validation
p = 0.67
r = 0.76
is it acceptable? or is there any way to increase the p factor.

Iteration1- PLAPS and TLAPS (100 simulations)
Iteration2- 5 Snow parameters (500 simulations)
Iteration3-  Calibration            (500 simulations)
Iteration4-  validation            (500 simulations)

The attached pictures are from calibration.

Thank you in advancePar.JPG

It is like when we do iterations over and over NSE and RE may increase but r and p factor decrease..so sometimes only increase in nse and r2 doesn't signify successful calibration..

Thank you Mr. Shahs
I am agree with you. But my question is how can I increase p an r factors.
I have done 500 simulation with 7 the most sensitive parameters but I still can't get a p factor above 0.7.

You could check it by changing the parameters range to improve the p value ..... so that p>0.7 and r value <1.2

You might try applying one or two iterations using parameters combined from Iteration1 and Iteration2. You might not be able to get a good snow calibration if the other parameter are way off, so doing it all at once (parameters combined) might give you a different (better?) result.

Sorry, I meant to say Iteration2 and Iteration3.

Dear fam,

I have encountered the SWATCUP error  as forrtl: sever (29)........fort:137
Is there  any body who get encountered similar challenge and solved? can share us please?
