Parallel Simulation in External Drive

Hi all,

I have a question regarding running SWAT+ CUP in parallel mode.

Is it possible to run parallel simulations from an external drive, or is it recommended to run everything from the local C drive?

I am currently considering using an external drive for my project files, but I am concerned about storage capacity.

Has anyone successfully run SWAT+ CUP parallel processing from an external drive? If so, did you encounter any issues or performance differences compared to running on the local drive? 

  When running from an external drive, I encounter file access errors during parallel execution, suggesting potential I/O or path issues.  

Any suggestions or best practices would be greatly appreciated.
