I run the debug SWAT according to the posted suggestion, SWAT shows no error (runs successfully)

As indicated, the pcp file has a problem. Perhaps it does not cover the entire simulation period.

What if someone wants to do calibration for five years so the simulation years will be five and the pcp files will remain to be the same years, let's say from 1988-2018 daily

Your simulation period should be inside the pcp period.

So in short I can't do small time steps for example if I have my pcp period as 32 years but I want to do calibration for 8 years, I can't do it?

You can, so long as these 8 years are covered in the pcp file.

I copied the swat2012 file where the installation files was then pasted it in my swat cup project folder and renamed it to swat and deleted the existing one and the error didn't occur again

Hi members,

So I did run the swat cup model as the steps were instructed for sediment yield but I am getting the error in the iteration output that no files exist for 95ppu.plot,95ppu-No-observed, best_par.txt, Best_Sim.txt and the New_pars.txt

The calibration ran successfully but in sufi2 post it gives an error. Also my simulation period is 8years but I have a skip period of three in the output only two observations are made for simulation year and two. Kindly assist me with this.

In the observation file, you can only specify one objective function type.

5 9 : Objective function type, 1=mult,2=sum,3=r2,4=chi2,5=NS,6=br2,7=ssqr,8=PBIAS,9=RSR

Yes I did by copying the Swat2012 file where my arcswat was installed in and pasting it in the Swat cup project folder then deleting the SWAT that existed there and renaming the one pasted to SWAT.
