After running SWAT model and importing to SWAT-CUP I have the following doubts. Any help from anyone would help me a lot...

1. I have chosen the parameters after following  https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0022169415001985 paper. But I still dont know how to define ranges for parameters? The values given in Par_inf.txt are different from the SWAT values, and some parameters are not found in par_inf.txt but found under Add New Parameters button. which has zero values for max and min by default.
2. How to decide whether method should be replaced(v), relative(r) or absolute(a)?
3. In (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0022169415001985) it is told to increase or decrease the parameter values while calibrating. Is there a way to increase or decrease the values? I know only that we can define the min max range of values.
4. Can I give the range for  eg. OV_N====>  0.01    30  (Manning's "n" value for overland flow.) as given in Absolute_SWAT_values? If so then which method should I choose v,r or a?

There is a small blue question mark that gives you information about v, r and a.

It clearly states to avoid using replace for distributed parameters. For example, CN number is different in every HRU therefore it is distributed. Now which parameters are distributed and which is decided by you and your experience. Even so there is a file of absolute SWAT values that gives an idea of what it should be.

Lastly a lot of it will be trial and error, it will take you a good 2 to 3 weeks to understand how things work if you're using it for the first time.

I would suggest reading the manual thoroughly first.

Thank you for the answers. So, you mean that we should define the parameter ranges by following from the absolute SWAT values? but I see some paper they use difference range value. Ex. CN2 35, 98 (follow the absolute SWAt Value) but other use CN2 like -0.2 to 0.2 or -30 to 30?

That's a bit confusing to me.
