Estimate SW-INITmm up to Rootzone depth ?

Dear all,

In the SWAT model outputs, the variable SW_INITmm from output.hru represents the amount of water in the soil profile at the beginning of the day.  I’m using the FAO soil map, which defines my soil profile in two layers: 30 cm (Layer 1) and 70 cm (Layer 2). 

I want to estimate the value of SW_INITmm specifically for the root zone depth.

Could anyone suggest an effective way to calculate or adjust SW_INITmm to represent soil water content within the defined root zone depth?
