Hello everyone,

Hope you are doing well. I am new to SWAT and calibrated the model using 2002-2015 runoff data. but my accuracy is not coming great. How to improve the results?

Hello,

Be Careful of the parametrization. i.e when you use r, v, and a. e.g I have seen that CN2 you used r (relative change) but you used actual CN values instead of the values between o and 1. Please check others and set appropriate values also by observing their default and recommended values.

regards,
Yonas

Hello,

How many Iterations did you perform? Another thing that I forgot to tell you is when its relative (r) the values could also be to the negative side (meaning -0.99 to 0.99). And please see this literature (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0022169415001985) it will help greatly .

From this literature your case might be mitigating those low peak flow values ( increase CN, decrease SOL_AWC, and decrease ESCO).

regards,
Yonas

Hi. Your CN range are not correct (take a look at Swatcup manual) and check your rainfall input  in the peak events
