Hi all,

I ran SWAT CUP (1000 times) with a total of 66 parameters. After it successfully terminated I couldn't look at the sensistvity analysis as an error prompted: "v__EVRCH.bsn  is already part of that table".
Has anybody seen this before?

Regards
Jochen

Hi Jochen,
Please look carefully on your parameter list. You have two "v__EVRCH.bsn" parameter in your parameter list. You should run SWAT-CUP again after removing the mentioned parameter to obtain sensitivity analysis results.

Hope to be useful.

Aziz

Hi Aziz,
I tried that but now another error message prompts: "There is insufficient data to perform the requested calculation".

This time I reduced the number of runs to 66. I didn't read anything in the manual about a minimum number for the "gobal sensitivity analysis", but as for the  "one at a time analysis" only 3 runs are neccesary I assume it should be enough here.

for global sensitivity you must have more simulations than the number of parameters, many more!
Use your 1000 simulations, just remove the duplicate parameter and rerun post processing...
best, Karim

Hi Karim,

removing the duplicate variable in par_inf.txt file (and adjusting the number of parameters from 66 to 65 then) didn't work. When executing the  SUFI2_post.bat an error message prompted in the command window: "Error! simulation number 66 in variable file 1 is missing or has a problem".

I tried to open though by double clicking on the global-sensitivity analysis button in the SWAT-CUP menu. Then it says that the array is longer that the column numbers.

I am rerunning it from the start now.

in an earlier email you said you made 1000 simulations... do you still have the output of that? I meant using that run..

Hi Karim,

yes I used that iteration, opened the txt. files deleted that one duplicate variable and adjusted the parameter number. I saved it closed SWAT-CUP, opened it again and ran the post processing. Than the error prompted.

Do you have a guess what I've done wrong?

Regards
Jochen
