The best solution is not the quantity, but the quality.
You might be able to have a good fit for your flow just in a hundred simulations, if the parameters and their value ranges are chosen wisely.
So rather than making more simulations - make smart decisions. First, try to see what is your current model producing. Second, determine where is your model failing (too much water, too little ground flow, etc.). Based on the analysis adjust the parameters that have a direct influence on the problematic area.
This way you could have your model calibrated in a couple of hours.
