Dear users,

In SWAT-CUP manual, p-factor is defined as the percentage of measured data bracketed by the 95PPU. So, the p-factor can be estimated with the following equation.

p-factor=(# of observations within 95PPU)/(total # of observations)

When I calculate p-factor manually with the above equation, there is differences in the p-factors calculated by SWAT-CUP. In the end of the attached "95PPU.txt", SWAT-CUP calculated p-factor as 0.90 while my manual calculation with the time series in "95PPU.txt" is 0.874059. r-factor and the other goodness-of-fit statistics show consistency between SWAT-CUP calculation and my manual calculation.

Can you please indicate if I miss anything?

Thank you.

Keewook.

When calculating p-factor you have to account for error also. I assume 10% error in the examples provided, but user should judge if it is more. So your observation +|- the error should be considered.

Then your model is not very correct. Look at the bulk watershed values in the output.std to determine what is going on in the watershed.

Dear sir,

how did you do it ? Teach me, please......I create the 95PPU plot, but I can't get the amount of observation potions within 95PPU.
