Wellness Tip
Hydration is incredibly important as the weather heats up and the body loses fluid, nutrients, and electrolytes throughout the day. Make sure to power your body up with 64 fluid ounces of water every day!
~If you choose to consume alcohol, alternate alcoholic drinks with water to consume responsibly.
~Drinking water between alcoholic beverages will keep the body hydrated, reduce the likelihood you will drink too much, and reduce the effects of a hangover the next morning.
~If you feel like you have to be seen drinking alcohol, fill your cup with water and tell anyone who asks it's vodka.
*Practice respect for others' choices by not pressuring them to drink alcohol, and do no ask why they aren't consuming. That's a personal question! You don't know what other people have been through, so please be courteous to others' decisions.
Dorm Room Workout
21 minute As Many Rounds As Possible:
10 burpees
10 jumping squats
10 weighted situps
20 jumping jacks
Try to complete as many rounds of these exercises as you can as quickly as possible. These 21 minutes will be hellish but feel so good when you are done!
Fueling Your Healthy Body
Pizza Bagels! To keep your body full of carbohydrates this weekend, try making these cute little pizza snacks! Spread pasta sauce on a sliced bagel, top with cheese and any other desired toppings, and pop in the oven for a few minutes. Easy and delicious!
Have a healthy week, and a safe weekend!
