Spring Break!!

Hey everyone!

Hope you are enjoying this fantastic sunshine and are excited for the much anticipated Spring Break!

If you are staying on campus over break, please register on mybucknell. The doors lock at 5pm on Friday!

The custodial staff will be doing room inspections next week. So this is a great opportunity to take some things home with you and leave them there (wink wink).

Please be sure to lock your doors and windows! There have been a lot of thefts on campus, particularly during these breaks. People know that campus is empty, so it is easy to sneak in a window or put on a bucknell sweatshirt and pretend you are moving a TV. The custodians will lock your room when they leave, but they won't do inspections until after this weekend. So it is your responsibility to lock your doors and windows.

You do not have to unplug your fridge, but it might be a good idea to turn on your heat. Turn off your lights, take out your trash, etc. etc.

Room selections (and applications) have already started! I will put up some things on the bulletin board about it, but the best way to check deadlines is to "like" Bucknell Housing on facebook. That page has the most up to date information and gives you instructions on how to see floor plans, and what rooms are still available. I will forward you the link.

Great News: after break we will be receiving hall trash cans! (Yeahhh) Unlike most buildings on campus, Hill and Loomis do not have communal trash cans because it was a "fire hazard." We have been fighting this diligently, and finally won! Hopefully this will help the recycling situation, and the overflowing bathroom trash cans on weekends.

There are many viruses going around (flu and stomach), try to be mindful so as not to spread it!
