to Swarm Discussion
Swarm is about distributed actors. Actors are often regarded as a
solvent for concurrency issues, but I'm short on papers describing
coordination amongst a cloud of actors. Can anyone recommend reading
materials for how coordination is done amongst a distributed network
of actors?

Really the group that has built and perfected distributed actors is Erlang. I'd heartily recommend studying anything about building distributed systems using related literature.
