Default "from" address

ZM: I purposely didn't just reply to your message, because I wanted to see what happens with the sender name when the message is addressed to the group. Since I'm sending this from my email client, how it was sent  shouldn't have been influenced by my being in the group, and if I'm correct, the from address for this message should reflect my own identity. Hopefully I'll get a copy of the message and can see for myself what happened.

It appears that if you originate the email from within the group, and are an owner or moderator, you have a choice about the "from" address. If your message originates from your email client, then the usual rules for your email client establish what the "from" address is. I'm gonna go with that until it proves false.
