Swarm authors' google group invitations

Hello to all. This is Quantum Mechanic, and I've been working with Omachuck and Zen Master to try and get the new Swarm authors' mailing list going. To date the process has been glitchy. The offered method of inviting users has yet to be successful, so we are left with asking you folks sign into google groups and apply for membership. We've had several folks successfully join using that method. The web page found here tells you how.

In order to do that, you'll have to use your google account (gmail, google groups, whatever), and sign in to https://groups.google.com and look for the group named swarm-authors. When you select that group, you should find (somewhere on the page) a link that submits your application for membership in the group. I'll be checking for applications periodically, so that I can approve them and get you into the group.

I've worked in system administration for many years, but today's applications seem to be so paranoid, that they are almost unusable. I'm learning but full competence in group management may be some time coming. Please bear with me

The message to which I'm replying was bcc'd to the entire list of email addresses provided by Omachuck. I did it that way to avoid exposing individual addresses to the world. I used the group email as the "To" address so that you could all know what I've done.
