Some years ago Kat Sakaro sent the Swarm authors group Volulunteer's Slut to review for possible inclusion in the Swarm Cycle. ZM and I both liked it and noted that with minor tweaks to canon, it would be a nice addition. I've been looking for 'orphaned stories' and found that Kat never submitted it to SOL. I contacted him, and he told me that he had the impression from the group that it didn't fit. Phooey!

Kat has joined us, and with his permission, I will share his story with the group for the normal proofing and comments. The story is a short D/s tidbit.

Attached for your comments (and proofreading) is the short Swarm D/s story by Kat Sakaro. This version is the one that I just bled all over in my role as comma/grammar Nazi. feel free to tell Kat that my sh*t does stink. From my view, there is only one canon issue which I suggested a remedy at the very end of the story. The volunteer has a CAP of 8.0 but only chooses one concubine. All the rest is a matter of perception. Volunteer's Slut will probably earn him emails wanting to know more.

I went back and read the old emails on this and found that the story deemed non Swarm material is the long one Kat is currently working on on SOL.
