Expanded lease execution and bonus check distribution dates announced:

We had our first successful lease execution and bonus check distribution last Saturday, March 15. Hundreds of SWAPO2 members in the Bayberry Hills and Stagecoach Estates subdivisions signed their leases and walked away with a hefty bonus check (click here for photos). Considering that our group has only existed since January 12th, and we had our first group meeting only a month ago, we have raced forward to bonus check distribution in record time. Even the original SWAPO group, which started over 90 days before we did, is only now getting their checks in the mail. Way to go SWAPO2 volunteers and Carburante/Carrizo for working so hard to get the money flowing to our neighborhood!

We strive to post signing dates for each subdivision two weeks in advance, and if you previously signed the letter of intent in person, you should be getting a letter and/or phone call informing you of the availability of your lease and check. All signings and bonus checks will be at the Park Springs Bible Church, 5515 Park Springs Blvd., Arlington, TX, but your lease and check will only be available on the days assigned to your subdivision. Don't worry--you will have many opportunities. Remember you need to bring ID for sure and your spouse if you have one to the lease signing.

Here are the dates already planned, but realize there will be more well into April:

In these and other subdivisions, not all eligible SWAPO2-area property owners have signed a letter of intent to enable them to receive a check, but they will be allowed to do so at these meetings using a separate table. After you sign a letter of intent, it will take several weeks to verify your title and exact mineral rights. If you are not sure if you are in the SWAPO2 area, check this map (click here).
 
We are now accepting all letters of intent in person at signing meetings. Even if you emailed or US mailed the online version, you must still appear in person to sign a letter of intent with Carburante/Carrizo. The purpose of the online memorandum was to give us bargaining power with the drilling companies, and we were successful in doing that. Now we have moved to the more formal stage which requires appearance in person.

If you have never been to a signing meeting in person, your lease and check will NOT be available at these meetings, but you will have a chance to sign the letter of intent with SWAPO2 and Carrizo/Carburante.

There are more subdivisions to be covered in the future, so stay tuned to this website and group email list. If you already signed a letter of intent in person at a signing, your date of execution will be announced soon.
