Due
to popular demand, we've extended signing meetings for SWAPO2 and the
Carrizo deal for another week. Please note these meetings will have
volunteers from SWAPO2, your neighbors who have also signed this deal
and will soon be getting their bonus check.

For those of you "early birds" who already have signed at one of our
meetings, the final lease execution signing and your bonus check will
be ready soon. We will announce phased bonus check distribution
meetings, starting with those in the southwestern side of the SWAPO2
area and progressing eastward and toward I-20. Those of you who
signed in person and gave your name and property address will be
individually informed of the meeting where your final lease copy and
your check will be distributed.
We will be holding another large group gathering some evening this week,
with dates and location to be announced soon. All of you who have
signed at a meeting or are still thinking about signing the SWAPO2 deal
are welcome to attend. Meet your board members, volunteers, and
Carburante/Carrizo personnel face-to-face. We anticipate 1,000-2,000
landowners will be attending this meeting. We are proud of what we have
accomplished for the community so far, but there's still more work to
do.
We have heard some of you have been misled into thinking that Dale/Chesapeake is the only company actually signing leases and handing out checks in our area, but that is soon to be a thing of the past. As we promised with SWAPO2, we took the extra few weeks to research your title information by hand to make sure you get the FULL amount for your bonus check based on your TRUE mineral rights acreage--not just the TAD database figures.
We have numerous verified reports that Dale
measurements of acreage in some of their offer letters were miscalculated
(sometimes a lot less than you deserve), and that Dale rushed people
into signing without a chance to verify acreage, then gave them checks for less than the homeowner
deserved. Remember if you sign the Dale lease and cash their check,
there is no easy recourse for you even if they made a mistake. Measure
before you sign!
Or better yet, sign with SWAPO2 and Carrizo where we took care to get it right the first time.
Regards,
