We (self, wife, son) are planning to visit Parambikulam wildlife sanctuary for one night/2 days on 26th Dec & 27th Dec. For details of Parambikulam wildlife sanctuary, please click to attached link. http://www.parambikulam.org/

On 26th, start from EKM at 6am, check in 1pm at Parambikulam, spend one night there, short trekking etc... check out next day 12pm and reach back EKM by 6pm... Accomodation and food all inclusive for 2 adult is approx Rs4,500/- or so. We have to arrange our own transport.
