First, let's loot the two rooms in the Master Bedroom and Storage Room. We found various consumables in the former - such as a Herb inside the desk, a Lockpick inside a box on the table - then go to the Storage Room, where there's another Treasure Photo on the left and a Herb in a drawer, but most importantly - and easily missable - is a Backpack on the metal shelf against the wall which increases your inventory space.

To progress, read the 'Clock Memo' file on the globe, hinting at a puzzle - "The same time as all other clocks". This tells you to look at another clock in the house, and change the time of the standalone clock on the same table to that time, which is 10:15.

The Resident Evil 4 clock puzzle near the library where you play as Ashley is one of the RE4 Remake's more confusing puzzles, with no clear direction about what to do or what time you should set the puzzle to. However, we've gone through and scouted out the solution for you, so you don't need to feel confused by this element of the Resident Evil 4 Remake. Read on to find out how to solve the clock puzzle in Resident Evil 4, and where you can find the solution and the right time.

Both grandfather clocks you can interact with in Resident Evil 4 are actually secret doors that open when the clocks are set to the correct time of 11.04. The way to find this out is on a note in the nameless room north of the library and south of the Grand Hall, where on a table on the West side of the room is a piece of paper that displays the correct time and the word "clock" in Spanish.

We haven't tried to enter the correct time into the clocks before finding the note - so it's possible it works without finding the clue - but in case it doesn't, you can find the note's location on the map above. There are two grandfather clocks in Ashley's section, one encountered earlier when beginning the section and one in the same room as the note, on the Eastern wall. Both of them can be opened by setting them to the time 11.04, at which point it won't come up again.

Thes Clock Puzzles appear during the second half of Chapter 9 in Resident Evil 4 Remake. You'll need to solve them in order to progress through the Library and into the Mausoleum. In this puzzle page, you'll find the location of each of Clock Puzzles and solutions for their respective puzzles.

Head right past where Leon is to find another Grandfather Clock, and spin the clock hands until you reach 11:04 to unlock it (the small hand near the XI, and the large hand right before the I. If on Hardcore or higher difficulty, switch it to 7:00. This will open a passage back down to the lower Library floor.

Note that if you know the codes beforehand, you don't actually have to go through the Library, find the Bunch of Keys, and take the lift up to find the note. You can save a lot of time by simply opening the first Grandfather Clock to the Mausoleum to get the Salazar Family Crest, and race back up through the secret passage (which will be opened regardless). However, you may miss out on several treasures without the Bunch of Keys!

Resident Evil 4 remake follows the story of Agent Leon S. Kennedy during his quest to find and rescue Ashley Graham, the president's daughter, from a deranged cult in Spain. Upon arriving at his destination, he and his comrades become separated, leaving him to complete this mission on his own.

After finding Ashley in Resident Evil 4 remake, she will join Leon as they attempt to find a way to escape. Sadly, they end up delving even deeper into the twisted land they find themselves in and become separated multiple times during their ventures. Toward the climax of Chapter 9, Ashley is forced to explore The Castle on her own and will have to solve the Grandfather Clock puzzle in order to progress the story.

Upon gaining control of Ashley in Chapter 9, players will need to explore the darkened halls of The Castle and find a way to free Leon from the cage he has been trapped. Without access to Leon's weapons, however, the player will be forced to rely mostly on stealth in order to reach the end of each room and acquire the treasures hidden throughout.

After collecting the lantern at the beginning of this section, the player will need to follow the linear path forward until they reach the room with two exits. The ordinary wooden door on the left leads to the Library, while the door with the Grandfather Clockmarks the real way forward. In order to open the Grandfather Clock door, the player will need to adjust the hands on the clock to the correct positions.

To find the solution to the Grandfather Clock puzzle, players must venture into the library, turn right, and explore the room's far end. There, they will be able to place the lantern on a pedestal near some bookshelves, which will allow Ashley to enter a small new area, wherein she must turn the crank to lower the staircase to the upper level.

Backtracking to the area just in front of the Library's elevator, Ashley can use the third key on the Bunch of Keys to unlock the gate and head to the floor above. Two Armaduras spawn in the Library once Ashley collects the Bunch of Keys, so players will need to make use of the crawlspaces around the area if they wish to avoid getting attacked by them.

After exiting the elevator, a brief cutscene will play, after which Ashley can turn left and proceed behind the two bookcases to find the Hastily Written Note, on which lies the solution to the Grandfather Clock puzzle.

If players are playing Resident Evil 4 remake on the Assisted or Standard difficulty settings, the solution to the Grandfather Clock puzzle will always be 11:04. Those playing on Hardcore or Professional, however, will need to change the time on the clock to 7:00.

If players wish to bypass exploring the Library, they can move the Grandfather Clock's hands to their correct positions upon finding the door. This will grant immediate access to The Mausoleum, but Ashley will not be able to open the optional treasure chest inside without first obtaining the Bunch of Keys from the Library.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake clock puzzle is one of the many you need to solve if you want to progress through the dangerous halls and corridors of Salazar's castle, but this one sees you piloting Ashley instead of Leon. Those who played the original game will remember the section where a terrified Ashley had to escape some murderous suits of armour, and the clock puzzle takes place during this.

If you're still exploring the castle, you might want to know how to open those Square Lock Boxes, or complete some of the trickier requests, such as defacing Ramon's portrait or locating the crow's nest. It's worth noting there's also a secret weapon located in the Library, though you'll have to come back as Leon. Otherwise, here's how to solve the Resident Evil 4 Remake clock puzzle so you can help Ashley escape.

During chapter nine, after you complete the chimera statue by returning its three heads, you'll find yourself playing as Ashley in a sequence set in a dark and spooky Library. In order to progress and escape from the parasite-infested suits of armour wandering around, you'll need to enter the correct time into a couple of big grandfather clocks. The right time for both clocks depends on what difficulty you are playing the game on:
