Same here I also am from Turkey so we may as well try a VPN
maybe for some reason the servers battleye uses for the updates are restricted by our service providers
update: VPN did not work so for all I know it is not a SP issue but still feels like a regional issue considering the only 2 people who posted about this problem are turkish

with my antivirus disabled and steam as an admin with all of the arma exes as an admin it still comes up with the same error, but only with battleye enabled, if i run the game exes(arma3_x64.exe & arma3.exe) manually they open up with no errors.

Yeah I hear you. The game will not start for me start unless I put in -dx11 in the box. Anything else the game will either crash or not start at all. In the last game it was a lot easier to bypass battleye.

Once I click on dayz it launches a window that says that I need to accept the battleye eula, but whether I click yes or no it makes my screen pixelated and a window appears saying that dayz has stopped working. My screen then only returns to normal once I click "Close the program". I really have no idea what is going on but here are some pictures:

I did some troubleshooting and I have a solution five minutes later open up the launcher when the menu prompts and follow the screenshot below parameters > profile name > character name and launch the game. It worked for me, enjoy.

I fixed the problem. To be honest, I don't even know if I was the one who fixed it. My Fortnite game needed updating, but I couldn't do it at the moment, so I enabled virtualization and started working (coding and making VMs sort of my hobby). The next day, I started the update. The game started normally. After I finished playing, I noticed that virtualization was still turned on! Fortnite started using EAC instead of BattlEye. This explains the fact that the EAC launcher came instead of the BattlEye launcher which I normally see.

, change silent install to 0. This will open BE without direct install. File>Save. Now you can go back to The Win64 folder and open FortniteClient-Win64-Shipping_EAC.exe. Now EAC will open, wait until battleye opens. Click on do not ask again and click close. Fortnite should boot up. Now make sure silent install is back if you ever change your mind.

I had the AVG free version and just recently upgraded it to full. That's when the problems started. Tried disabling AVG components, but to no effect. Even when I turned of the AVG completely, I got the same error message from Battleye. "Failed To initialize battleye service:Driver Load Error (1450)". I've searched and tried every type of fix the internet has offered, from re-installing Battleye, the game it is affiliated with (PUBG), my Windows 7, AVG Antivirus, turning of AVG Antivirus completely, but none of them worked. As soon as I uninstalled AVG and removed all components, the error message dissapeared. When I then re-installed AVG Antivirus, the problems came straight back. So my thoughts are that AVG Antivirus is blocking Battleye from launching as it probably thinks it's malware. Just a thought.

This error indicates that your BattlEye failed to be installed or your BattlEye launcher failed. This is a rather frustrating problem for gamers. Commonly, a simple restart of your computer can fix most problems including failed to install BattlEye Service.

I've tried uninstalling dayz and the launcher and reinstalling it, I tried also uninstalling the mods and reainstalling it, I've restarted my internet, I've tried joining dayZ server on the normal dayZ launcher with direct connect.

Hello chucky20097.
Does this occur on the vanilla version of the game without any mods running when connecting to official servers? Also, do you have this problem with the standard dayz launcher?

Geez

Other times we have the player load the mods into the launcher, then launch the game without connecting to a server, then connect to the server after the game is running. This can be difficult if the player isn't familiar with manually managing mods in the client, however.

This project has been created several years ago, where I firstly started messing around with VMP 2.X. During that time, I used the BattlEye launcher as my target executable to reinterpret VM instructions.By that time, I figured out that BEDaisy does not strip the process handle created by the launcher. That information let my imagination go wild and find out ways to grab the handle. So I slowly started to reproduce different parts of the launcher. After painting all parts to the big picture, I finally connected all parts of the puzzle and rebuilt a new launcher for that purpose.

The BattlEye launcher is reponsible for initiating the protection of BattlEye. It creates BEService, starts it and sends necessary information to it.In addition, it also starts the main game and this is the part where FakeEye starts to shine.

When the BattlEye service first starts, it expects the launcher to send configuration to it.For that, BEService opens a named pipe called \\.\pipe\BattlEye. In order to do that, the launcher reads the configuration BELauncher.ini found in the BattlEye folder. When opening it, you might find the following:

GameID is used to identify the game. BasePort is neccessary for the communication. 32BitExe or 64BitExe is required to launch the correct game executable.Silentinstall specifies whether the GUI of the BattlEye launcher should be displayed or not. BEArg tells the launcher the argument required to launch BattlEye.

BattlEye has constructed a way to prevent attacker from abusing the handles. When it comes to launching the protected game, the launcher will restart itself to do it.This allows BEDaisy to protect it from attacker by stripping handle access.

FakeEye emulates the BattlEye launcher. It reads the configuration file of BattlEye and processes it like the real launcher does. But unlike the original launcher, it does not let the second instance of itself start the game.FakeEye starts the protected game itself and abuses the handles provided by the manual process creation. The complete source code can be found here.

Going along with this there's a new Proton Experimental update for November to enable this newer BattlEye support, plus also fixing a regression with the 2K launcher. To use this you need both Proton Experimental and the Steam Client Beta. Using Proton Experimental is easy, as shown below:

Most mods will work out of the box for Arma 3 on Proton. TFAR / ACRE2 need extra setup to work. See ninelore's guide on setting up Teamspeak and TFAR / ACRE2 for Arma 3 on Proton.
Alternative launchers can be used to manage mods and launch options. See Muttley's Arma 3 Unix Launcher for one such launcher. It can be installed from the project's "Releases" page or in one's respective package repository.
