How can I contribute for #2994? (I have posted the issue and make a pull request long ago)

Hello everyone,

I want to propose a few features for Swagger Core and I have posted it as issue 2994. I have also made an implementation for it (2996) and mailed everyone I can (including frantuma and the developers in pom.xml) but unfortunately, no one even gave me a reply.

Did I do something wrong? Or is this project a closed one and does not need any contribution? This is the first time I tried to make a contribution to an Open Source project, so I am really confused.

Could someone please give me your advice as to what I should do?
