I am in the process of building a REST api and I'm seeing this in my javascript console:
This API is using a deprecated version of Swagger! Please see http://github.com/wordnik/swagger-core/wiki for more info

I'm a little confused because I'm just following the wiki documentation on github so I'm not sure how I can be using a deprecated version of something already. Am I missing something?

Which documentation did you follow?  Probably not from the swagger-core wiki I'm guessing

How do you build the documentation? Can you share a sample of your output?

I figured it out. My swagger version was being serialized as a float instead of a string. IE: "swaggerVersion":1.2 instead of "swaggerVersion":"1.2"
