Here is a
change.org petition, just shared with me by a friend and well-known activist, to save the lush trees, ancient forest ecosystem, sacred tanks and shrines around the Girivalam Path in Thiruvannamalai from the local administration's proposal to expand the pathway. The petitioners are trying to reach a target of one lakh supporters over the coming few days. The petition makes a strong case for its cause and I believe it is worth an attentive reading and our wholehearted support. About 2800 supporters have signed it already and it will need all our concerted assistance to achieve its goal. Do please consider signing the petition and also sharing it widely and soon with your circle of friends on social media and other forums.
Thank you and best regards,
Gayathri

I'm writing to request you to add your name and support the campaign, and also to forward it to friends and family. Our goal is to reach 1 lakh signatures within the next few days.
