SWDC Friends & Neighbors,

I hope that this summer is treating everyone well. I wanted to make sure that you were aware of the monthly upcoming community clean-up days that I have organized. As some of you are aware, this is a continuation of an effort from last year that gathered a couple dozen neighbors from all over SWDC to come together and make our neighborhood even more beautiful. this year we will be focusing on the many lovely parks in SWDC. 

Please see the information below, and let me know if you have any questions. feel free to forward this information to your contacts, as well as to your listservs. I will be posting it to the SWDC Facebook, as well as to Nextdoor.com. If you are not on either of these groups and would like to be added, please let me know.

Beautify our Neighborhood & Met New Neighbors!

 

Please join your Southwest neighbors at a neighborhood clean up. We will focus on cleaning up Southwest area parks where we will pick up debris, lay fresh mulch to ensure that everyone can enjoy SW park space. Trash bags, gloves and rakes will be provided courtesy of The Mayor's Office.
