Health Fair Policy requires that:

  • Dogs must be secured on a leash no longer than 4 feet and cats must be secured in a carrier box.
  • All pets must be brought to the clinic by a responsible adult.
  • Dogs over the age of four (4) months old are required by law to be vaccinated against rabies and distemper. Cats over the age of four (4) months old are required to be vaccinated against rabies and feline distemper.
  • The law requires that all dogs are registered and wear their tags on their collars.
  • Dog license is $15 for a spayed or neutered dog and $50 for an unspayed or unneutered dog.
  • If available, please bring previous vaccination history.
  • Maximum 4 pets per owner.
  • No feral or semi-feral pets. (Animals living in the community without an owner)

 

At the animal health fair, You can pay by Check or Money Order (payable to:  DC Treasurer). NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

La Ley del Distrito de Columbia requiere que:

    • Los perros deben ser sujetados por una correa y los gatos deben ser transportados en caja especial para gatos.
    • Se require que un adulto traiga el animal a la clínica.
    • Los cachorros y gatitos sean vacunados contra la rabia y el moquillo (distemper) a partír de los (4) cuatro meses de edad.
    • La Ley requiere que los perros sean registrados y que lleven la medalla en su collar.
    • La licencia para perros cuesta $15 si el perro está esterilizado. Si no está, cuesta $50.
    • En caso de haber sido vacunado la mascota anteriormente traiga el comprobante.
    • Se ofrecen vacunas a un máximo de 4 mascotas por dueño.
  • No mascotas salvajes o semi salvajes

 

 

El pago debe hacerse por cheque, GIRO (money order) a nombre de:  “DC TREASURER”.   No se aceptará dinero en efectivo.

PAWS of Southwest Neighbors and Friends,

 

We are hosting our annual Spring/Summer kick-off meeting next Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 10:30 am- 12:00 pm at the offices of the Southwest Business Improvement District, 420 Fourth Street, SW, Washington, DC.  The agenda will include:

Breakfast pastries will be provided.  Bring your own favorite morning beverage.
