Can and Bottle drive at Capitol Hill School this weekend

Before you put out your recycling this week, pull out those cans and bottles and save them for Capitol Hill Elementary School!

 

On Saturday, March 23, 10 am – 1 pm, we will be collecting cans and bottles at the school parking lot (8401 SW 17th Ave).  We will sort your donation and take it directly to Lamb’s that afternoon.  This is an easy way to get started on this collection.  Tell your neighbors and drop off as many cans and bottles as you can collect. 

 

Year round, the Garden Home Lamb’s Thriftway collects redeemable can and bottle donations for schools.   If you will be out of town on the 23rd, you are welcome to drop all donations off before you leave or when you get back.  The lobby bins at Thriftway are available whenever the store is open.  We will also be hosting another drive at school on Saturday, June 1. 

 

The funds from this collection are going towards supporting Capitol Hill’s Centennial Celebration on June 22.
