Clark, I've had many days for more than 6 months where throughput made
it unusable, mostly
during evening hours. My neighbor next door has a huge tree in the
frontyard/backyard.
So this tree blocks my view of the city WiFi transceiver attached to
the city light pole.
In fall/winter I can see the transceiver because all the leaves fall
off. In the past, I've
had more consistent throughput during winter. I almost never fail to
connect to SVU,
it's the throughput that's the problem. My SNR is in the 20 range and
no RX errors and
the usual TX errors (3). I'm located on TICE drive, Milpitas.
If you need more info, please let me know. Today (right now) WiFi
throughput is acceptable.
If I did purchase an outside router would that overcome the throughput
issue ? Julian
