Where can I purchase the suggested WiFi modem locally? South Bay
preferred. Or, are there any other devices, i.e.; bridge or Ethernet
convertor, that I can purchase locally and use to expand the
connectivity inside my home? Thanks

DD-WRT.COM and used gear got me going. It takes many hours to learn and implement
as a cost affective alternative. It all depends on your budget, timeline and knowledge.
