I used to use PepWave 200 to connect to Internet via SVUnwired WiFi Network until SVUnwired upgraded its network during Aug - Sept. 2011.  After the upgrade, I had nothing, but problems to connect.  Out of frustration, I upgraded to my equipment to PepWave 400 thinking double the transmission power would help me connect.  I also added High Gain Hawking Antena.  At any given moment, I can see more than half dozen SVUnwired access points.  I always have 5 bars on my PepWave 400.  But still I have connectivity issue.  Like today, I cannot connect from early morning 7:30am until now.  Again, out of desparation, I accidentally found out my Laptop CAN connect with merely its own WiFi card INSIDE of house.  Only 2 bars in the Microsoft Wireless Network Connection window.  But still, I can connect.  This is really a surprise!  I was never able to connect with my Laptop inside of my house before the upgrade.  That's why I bought PepWave 200 at the first place.  Evidently, SVUnwired upgrade in 2011 made signal stronger and I can connect using my Laptop WiFi card directly.  However, much stronger signal of new PepWave 400 can not connect.  Why?  Will high power & stronger signal cause some kind of interference and cause connectivity problem?

From my experience, location, time of day and network issues are what matter most.
I have multiple routers in different locations, so when one connection (PC+router)
is not working or is too sticky, I just use a PC which uses a different router that's
located in another area. I usually see only one or two SVUnwired access points.
Having multiple routers is the best setup, now location is another story.
Perhaps there's a firmware update for your routers or a setting that needs adjustment.
It's a process of elimination.
My biggest problem, a neighbor has this hugh tree in front which obscures the access point.
I'm just glad it's not a evergreen.
