MEETING TOPIC & DESCRIPTION: One Ring at a Time: Using Apple Tech to Get Healthier
Join Jill McKinley as she shares how Apple’s health and fitness tools—like the Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and the Health app—helped her lose weight, build strength, and improve her health, all starting with the devices she already owned. Learn how the Apple ecosystem works together to support your movement, sleep, and wellness through simple nudges, tracking, and motivation. This session will show how everyday Apple devices can be powerful health companions—no intense workouts or tech expertise required.
Designed especially for those who want to stay active, age well, and take control of their wellness, this presentation explores how the iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, Health app, and Fitness+ all work together to gently support your health goals.
You'll learn how to track your activity, get reminders to move, improve sleep, monitor vitals, and even take fitness classes right from your living room. No need for fancy gym memberships or complicated tech setups—just your Apple devices and a willingness to start small.
If Jill can do it, you can too. You already have what you need to get started. This presentation is perfect for anyone ready to take meaningful steps toward better health with the Apple technology they already know and love.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER: Jill McKinley
Jill McKinley has spent much of her career working in information technology, with a focus on hospital systems, server management, and helping teams use technology more efficiently. With decades of experience under her belt, she understands both the technical side of things and how to make complex systems easier for people to use in their everyday work.
In addition to her IT work, Jill creates videos and podcasts and YouTube videos on topics ranging from personal growth and productivity to the beauty of the natural world. Her shows, like “Start with Small Steps” and “Buzz Blossom & Squeak”, offer thoughtful reflections on how small changes can make a big difference—whether that’s building healthy habits or noticing the birds outside your window.
