The scams keep coming… but here’s a new one with 100% accurate text — no telltale signs!

If it were real, this is EXACTLY how it would appear.

BUT, because it’s coming from a foreign phone number, and pointing to a US phone number, I know it’s a scam.
(Country code 63 is the Philippines!)

Always keep your guard up!

Wow! That is a good one, Charles.

I received a scam text the other day from "FedEx Ground" about a package. It was easy to know it was a scam because my mail and packages go to a UPS store. But I found out 4 things give it away - the country code (+51 - Peru), it was a group text (like 20 contacts), the fact that FedEx Ground only leaves a delivery notice it does not notify you any other way and the biggest tell - the trademark on the REAL FedEx is at the bottom of the X - they had it at the top of the X!  Have to be very careful these days. Don't click on the link
