MEETING TOPIC: Troubleshooting Your Mac & iPhone: A Thinking Person's Guide
When your Mac or iPhone starts acting up, the worst thing you can do is panic and start randomly trying fixes. This session introduces a systematic, calm approach to troubleshooting both macOS and iOS — built around the same core logic: observe the symptom, classify the problem, reduce variables, and test safely. Marty Jencius walks through the key diagnostic mindset for each platform, highlights the tools built right into your devices, and shares ready-to-use AI prompts that turn a large language model into your own personal troubleshooting coach — asking you the right questions and walking you through solutions step by step. Whether your Mac won't cooperate or your iPhone is misbehaving, you'll leave with a reusable framework and practical tools you can apply the next time something goes sideways.
